Hours before former President Donald Trump takes the stage for one of the most-watched moments of the campaign, audiences got a (fictional) glimpse of him as his younger self.

The official trailer for “The Apprentice,” a biopic about Trump's rise to power in the 1970s and '80s, was released Tuesday morning. Trump is played by Marvel actor Sebastian Stan.

The film shows Trump's relationship with his lawyer Roy Cohn, who tells him that there are only “killers and losers” in the world. This advice helps Trump to gain increasing notoriety in business and society.

The Trump campaign team had previously threatened the filmmakers with legal action, calling them “pure malicious slander.”
