UFC Contender Series results, live coverage and full fight highlights | Season 8, Episode 5

The time has come!

Contender Series continues for 10 weeks of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) action. Week five ends tonight at 8pm ET on ESPN+ from inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, in front of the UFC CEO, Dana Whiteas well as his cadre of matchmakers.

As has become standard for the program lately, all five winners received UFC contracts last week.

In the main event tonight Navajo Stirling (4-0) — a teammate of Israel Adesanya — takes on knockout artists, Phil Latu (6-1). The co-main features top-ranked Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts and tough fighters. Kody Steele (6-0) fight Alex Pereira-Conqueror, Quemuel Ottoni (12-3). The featured fight has Yousri Belgaroui (7-3) returned for his second shot on Contender Series when he met Japan's Taiga Iwasaki (9-1). Two undefeated knockout fighters in the bantamweight division – Otar Tanzilov (9-0) and Josiah Musasa (7-0) — will fight, and the women’s flyweights open the card as Corinne Laframboise (8-4) Fights Nicolle Caliari (7-2).
