Elon Musk takes action against Taylor Swift after supporting Kamala Harris

“Well, Taylor… you win… I will give you a child and protect your cats with my life,” Musk wrote in an X-post on Wednesday morning.

Musk commented on Swift's recent Instagram post supporting Harris.

The post, published Tuesday evening, appeared shortly after Harris concluded her first presidential debate with former President Donald Trump.

“I will be voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election. I'm voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes that I believe need a fighter to represent them,” Swift wrote in her post.

“I think she is a calm, gifted leader and I am convinced that we can achieve much more in this country if we are led by calm rather than chaos,” she continued, before signing off with the label “Childless Cat Lady.”

The term appeared to be a reference to Trump's running mate, Senator JD Vance of Ohio, who made remarks about childless people during a 2021 Fox News interview.

Swift is a proud cat owner without children.

“We are de facto governed in this country by the Democrats and our corporate oligarchs, a bunch of childless women who are unhappy with their own lives and the choices they have made and therefore want to make the rest of the country unhappy too,” Vance said at the time.

Representatives for Swift and Musk did not immediately respond to requests for comment outside regular business hours.

It's safe to say that Musk's interactions with Swift used to be more sociable.

When Swift's last album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” became a chart success, Musk immediately complimented the pop star.

“I'm not quite in the target audience, but still really impressive!” Musk wrote in an X-post on April 29.

But Swift's support for Musk puts her at odds with Musk, who had already pledged his support to Trump in July.

Musk has since been a vocal supporter of the former president and has even expressed interest in working for a possible Trump administration.

The moody billionaire said in a separate X-post on Wednesday that while Harris “exceeded most people's expectations” during Tuesday's debate, he still believes Trump is the better candidate.

“However, when it comes to getting things done and not just saying nice words, I firmly believe Trump will do a far better job,” Musk wrote.
