Jeff Wilson of the Dolphins: Could get more workload

Wilson may have to take on more work in the backfield on Thursday against Buffalo, as Raheem Mostert (chest) is out for the game and De'Von Achane (ankle) is being considered for the game, reports Chris Brown of the Bills Radio Network.

Wilson was already in Miami's running back rotation during the team's Week 1 win over Jacksonville, as his five carries for 26 yards ranked just third on the team behind Achane and Mostert. In Week 2, Wilson should at least take on expanded duties with Mostert out, but if Achane also can't play or is limited, the bulk of the Dolphins' backfield duties could fall on the veteran's shoulders. Rookie Jaylen Wright, drafted in the fourth round, will also likely play a role after being healthy and inactive in Week 1, but this early in the season, Miami may want to go with more experienced options.
