Prince Louis grabs his mother and goes viral: “She’s mine”

Prince Louis wanted to hug Princess Kate and Prince George and Princess Charlotte's cancer went viral on TikTok after she announced her cancer in a video.

The Princess of Wales released a video message announcing that she had completed her chemotherapy treatment and was now focusing on becoming cancer-free. The video, directed by Will Warr, gave cameras a glimpse into Kate's private family life, showing her resting her head on William's shoulder and laughing with her children.

And one moment that fans particularly remembered showed the whole Wales family side by side, with Kate putting her arm around George and Charlotte to her left.

To her right was William and next to him was Louis. The six-year-old obviously wanted to be a little closer to his mom.

In this heartwarming moment shared on TikTok, Louis can be seen reaching over William to try to grab Kate's arm.

The clip on @teamwalesfamily received over 27,000 likes and was viewed over 236,000 times after being shared with the message: “Louis dresses his mummy like she's mine! They're delighted to have him home!”

One fan replied: “Throughout the entire video I can see the sparkle in William's eyes again.”

Another posted: “It's Louis' world and we just live in it,” and a third wrote: “Louis is Louis.”

Throughout the video, Kate said: “The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.”

“Humility also makes you confront your own vulnerabilities in ways you've never considered before, giving you a new perspective on everything.

“Above all, this time has reminded William and me to reflect on and be grateful for the simple but important things in life that so many of us often take for granted: simply loving and being loved.”

The footage was shot in Norfolk, eastern England, during the summer, with some scenes filmed on Holkham Beach, which appears in the closing scenes of the 1999 film. Shakespeare in Lovewith Gwyneth Paltrow in the leading role.

Reactions to the footage were mixed, with some more excited than ever to see Kate and her family, while others felt the tone was too stylized and contrived.
