Roselle plane crash: Small plane crashes near Irving Park Road, Wright Boulevard and Schaumburg Airport, fire officials say | LIVE

ROSELLE, Ill. (WLS) – A small plane crashed in the northern suburbs on Wednesday.

Helicopter 7 was over the accident scene at approximately 11:30 a.m. and a small aircraft was seen in the trees in the area of ​​Irving Park Road and Wright Boulevard in Roselle.

Roselle Fire Department officials said they were on the scene and were not aware of any injuries.

The crash occurred near Schaumburg Airport.

It was not immediately clear what led to the incident.

Irving Park Road is closed at Mitchell Boulevard due to the accident, Schaumburg officials said shortly before 11:30 a.m.
