Police search for man who allegedly harassed people naked in South Brunswick

South Brunswick police are searching for a man who is accused of harassing women for the past four months.

According to authorities, the male suspect approached a woman while wearing only a ski mask and aggressively manipulated her waist area.

There have been five incidents since July, the most recent of which occurred on Tuesday. All incidents occurred in the Royal Oaks Apartment Complex and the adjacent walking path off Henderson Road between Route 1 and Blackhorse Lane.

According to police, four of the incidents occurred between 11 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. The incident on Tuesday happened at 4:30 p.m.

The suspect is described as a black man, 5'10″ to 6'10″ tall, of medium build, with long dreadlocks.

In addition, experts believe there may be other unreported incidents and are working to find further clues.

“We are asking residents in the area to check their Ring doorbell cameras to see if anything was recorded yesterday afternoon. Based on some of the images we have already seen, we believe the suspect may be active and we are asking gyms in the area to look at the images we are releasing,” said Detective Sergeant Timothy Hoover.

Police are asking anyone with information about these incidents to call the South Brunswick Police Detective Bureau at 732-329-4000, extension 7469.
