NFL legend Shannon Sharpe denies going live on Instagram during sex

Shannon Sharpe says his Instagram was hacked after a sex act was apparently live-streamed on his account.

In footage that has since made its way to X and was sent to fans of the NFL legend, a man and a woman can be heard getting intimate.

A woman can be heard moaning and a man breathing heavily, but since the camera is pointed at the ground, no faces are visible throughout the video.

And Sharpe claimed he was not one of the two people shown in the video and had nothing to do with the publication.

In a now-deleted post on his Instagram story, Sharpe said: “Beware, my Instagram @shannonsharpe84 was hacked this morning. My team and I are working hard to figure this out – UNC.”

Screenshots of the recording show that at times more than 6,500 people were watching the video at the same time.

Sharpe, a member of the NFL Hall of Fame and one of the greatest tight ends of all time, played for 14 years, primarily with the Denver Broncos. He also played for the Baltimore Ravens from 2000 to 2001.

The three-time Super Bowl winner has never been married and explained why in his podcast last year.

“I would have liked to get married earlier in my career, but my career was the most important thing,” he said.

“So, I wasn't good. I was a terrible father, I was probably a terrible brother, a terrible son – and I was definitely a terrible friend. Because football was the most important thing.”

“It obsessed me because I wanted to free my grandmother and my family from the conditions they were in.

“…Many women told me that being the No. 2 in football would be no problem for them. But when it came down to it and they saw how committed I was, they couldn't do it.”
