Selling Sunset Season 8 Reunion Cancelled After Chrishell Stause Threatened to Leave the Show

The reunion of the 8th season of “Selling Sunset” will no longer take place due to disputes within the cast.

After Chrishell Stause and her co-star Chelsea Lazkani called producers ahead of Friday's season premiere, Netflix announced there were no plans to film a reunion special, Variety reports.

Representatives for Netflix declined to comment.

Earlier this month, Stause threatened in her Instagram stories that she would quit the show once she watched the new season and saw co-star Nicole Young spread a “disgusting lie” that Stause's “best friend” Emma Hernan was having an affair with a married man.

“Are we really still giving airtime to LIARS who just want airtime,” Stause said on social media. “I will NEVER work on a show with her again. I'd rather get sued.”

“Disclaimer when watching: You must know that she is spreading a disgusting lie about a best friend that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE.”

Stause also tagged Done and Done Productions, which produces the series, writing, “It is disgusting of you to blindside her with this and expose it to the whole world instead of at least giving her a chance to defend herself with the TRUTH.”

Lazkani, who had her own drama with co-star Bre Tiesi this season, also echoed Stause's words in her Instagram stories, calling Young a “diabolical piece of 🗑️.”

“You want to start a rumor about Emma because all the rumors about you are true. OK, let's see how this works out for you,” she said.

In response to criticism from her colleagues, Young reportedly said in her Instagram stories that as a “married woman,” she “confidently stands up for the sanctity of all marriages.”

“Instead of attacking me and accusing me of lying, I think you ladies should ask your best friend some tough questions…” she added.

“Nevertheless, I called this information a rumor.”

Sell sunset Fans can say goodbye to a reunion after season 8, as a new report says the annual special will not happen due to cast disputes.

Since season 5, the cast of the reality series has met for a joint discussion with “Queer Eye” star Tan France. The special usually appears on Netflix within two weeks of the season premiere. This season, that will not happen.
