Alabama Power accepts requests for renewable energy proposals through October 15: The Alabama Weather Blog

Alabama Power seeks proposals for potential renewable energy projects in a biennial process mandated by the Alabama Public Service Commission.

“We are interested in market opportunities for potential clean energy projects in our service area that create win-win situations for our customers and communities,” said Misty Walker, director of resource planning for Alabama Power.

The request for proposals (RFP) will be released on September 9 and will run through October 15. Interested applicants can find more information at AlabamaPower.com/2024RenewRFP.
