Priceville substitute teacher Brandi Bomar arrested for public drunkenness

PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Morgan County Schools officials said a woman who appeared to be intoxicated was removed from school grounds Wednesday. Police now believe the woman is a substitute teacher.

According to school officials, someone who did not work for the school and appeared to be intoxicated was at Priceville High School.

School security and Priceville police immediately removed the individual.

However, Priceville police said the woman, later identified as Brandi Michelle Bomar, was arrested and charged with public intoxication and illegal possession of alcohol.

Police officials also told 48 News that the employee was a temporary worker, but did not say whether she had previously worked at Priceville High School.

School officials said there was never any threat to students or teachers.
