Northumberland Zoo directors ‘slain’ in viral TikTok video

Northumberland Zoo has gone viral on TikTok with a new video in which the directors give a Gen Z-style tour of the venue with a blank expression.

The marketing stunt features directors of Northumberland Zoo Brian and Linda Bradley Use of words and expressions such as “brat”, “slay”, “main character energy”, “yuck”, “smol” and “slay”.

The clip is titled: “The Gen Z employees who zoo Marketing script.”

In the introduction to the video, Brian says, “Northumberland Zoo is different.” Later, he points to a river and suggests, “If you have a Menty B [mental breakdown]River walk.”

Linda shows a goat and says “goat,” which means “the greatest of all time,” and in one of the exhibits, Brian says, “It’s about the Amazon rainforest.”

“We look forward to your visit,” adds Linda.

At the time of writing these lines TikTok The video has been viewed 6.7 million times and liked over 1.1 million times.

The zoo also posted a blooper video with the caption, “This is how hard it was to train directors for viral Gen-Z marketing videos.”

Maxine BradleyZoo manager and daughter of the new TikTok stars, told ITV: “It's funny to me because I made my parents famous all over the world. Everyone thinks it's funny, but I think it's funny.”

Maxine told the publication that visitors came to the zoo to take selfies with Brian and Linda.

Northumberland Zoo is a 20-hectare destination with more than 80 different species.
