2 dead and 3 injured in traffic accident on Michigan Avenue in Detroit

WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI — Two people were killed and three others injured in a traffic crash on Michigan Avenue in the Detroit area Wednesday afternoon, according to multiple news reports citing police.

According to news reports, police said the accident occurred at 4 p.m. on Michigan Avenue between Ecorse Road and Wiard Road near Willow Run Airport in Washtenaw County.

Two people were killed in the crash and three others were taken to nearby hospitals where they were in critical condition, according to news reports.
