The highly anticipated heavyweight boxing mega-event, which will air on Netflix, takes place in just over two months. On November 15, boxing legend Mike Tyson will step into the ring at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas to face YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul.

The 58-year-old former heavyweight champion Tyson announced his return to training after a stomach ulcer broke out, forcing the exhibition fight to be postponed. This fight against “The Problem Child” will mark a historic moment in boxing, as it will be Tyson's first return since his exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.

Paul, 27, extended his record to 10-1 after defeating bare-knuckle boxer and former mixed martial artist Mike Perry in the main event of Fear No Man on July 20. Jake Paul is out to prove he can go all the way against real boxers, even if they are retired and three decades older than him.

The Tyson-Paul fight is going ahead as planned and here are the latest updates and rumors surrounding the event.

Official Fight Rules for Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson

This fight has been sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations and will consist of eight rounds of two minutes each (instead of the usual three-minute rounds). Both boxers will wear 14-ounce gloves, which are heavier than the standard gloves.

Jake Paul is not worried about Tyson's health

After Tyson suffered a health scare earlier this year and the fight had to be postponed for several months, there were concerns about Tyson in the boxing world. However, Jake Paul is not worried and claims that no replacement is needed for Tyson.

In response to questions from TMZ, Paul told reporters, “He's doing great. Behind the scenes, he's super healthy and feeling great. That's our focus and there's no replacement at this time.” Paul continued, “You can get seriously hurt there, so if you're not there to go to war, you should just leave.”

In a recent interview with FightHype, Jones, who fought Tyson in an exhibition match in 2020 – Tyson’s last appearance in the ring – said he believes Tyson will win the fight:

“It's a young lion and an old lion. It's a great situation for them. It gives Jake a chance since Mike is his age. I think it's a great opportunity for both fighters, but I still think Mike will be a little bit too much for Jake.”

When will Jake Paul fight Mike Tyson?

The fight will still take place on November 15th at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. Promoters Most Valuable Promotions have carefully considered the Cowboys' schedule to ensure a smooth process. They chose the new date to avoid conflicts with the Cowboys' home schedule. Dallas hosts Houston on Monday, November 18th, on Monday Night Football.

The start time of the fight has not been announced. It will only be available on Netflix. Other streaming services will not carry it and it will not be broadcast on cable television.
