Florida man allegedly sexually assaulted unconscious woman in ambulance

A former Flagler County Fire Department employee was arrested after officials said he assaulted an unconscious woman in an ambulance. James Melady, 37, of Daytona Beach, faces sexual assault and video voyeurism charges, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office said. Daytona Beach police say they have video evidence showing Melady touching the victim in October 2021. FCSO said he was on duty and in uniform at the time, and the victim was obviously unconscious and unaware he was being assaulted. James Melady, 37, of Daytona Beach, faces charges of sexual assault and video voyeurism, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office said.

Daytona Beach police say they have video evidence of Melady touching the victim in October 2021.

The FCSO said he was on duty and in uniform at the time and the victim was apparently unconscious and unaware he had been attacked.
