Alpharetta shooting death investigated as homicide, suspect last seen on motorcycle – WSB-TV Channel 2

ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Alpharetta police are searching for a suspect following a shooting Wednesday night.

According to police, the shooting occurred around 11 p.m. in the area of ​​Highway 9 and Milton Avenue.

Officers were called because gunshots had been reported. When they arrived at the scene, they found a gunshot victim.

The victim was taken to hospital where he died later Thursday morning.

The case is now being investigated as a homicide. Police identified the victim as 46-year-old Justin Mourning of Alpharetta.

According to police, initial investigation data indicate that the incident began with an argument between two people whose relationship to each other is unknown.

Police are now looking for the suspect, who is described as the driver of a black sports motorcycle. He is wearing a black jacket with patches on the left sleeve and left chest, black pants and black Nike shoes.
