BREAKING NEWS: LifeFlight dispatched to motorcycle accident on Route 66

FARMINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A rescue helicopter was requested following a motorcycle accident in Farmington Township on Thursday afternoon.

According to Clarion County 9-1-1, a 911 call came in at 1:12 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, for a motorcycle accident near the intersection of State Route 66 and Slater Drive in Leeper, Farmington Township, Clarion County.

The Farmington Township and Marienville Volunteer Fire Departments, Marienville-based State Police, Clarion Hospital Emergency Medical Services and LifeFlight were dispatched to the scene.

It is not known whether the motorcyclist was transported, the dispatcher said.

The road was partially closed in one lane, the dispatcher added.

The crime scene was cleared at 2:48 p.m.
