Man rescues driver from submerged truck during Hurricane Francine live on TV

A driver was rescued from a completely submerged pickup truck in New Orleans on Wednesday evening when Hurricane Francine triggered a flash flood.

A Good Samaritan, Miles Crawford, was in the area and when Crawford realized what had happened, he ran back to his house, grabbed something to break the truck's window, and saved the man's life.

A piece of metal flew off a trailer and pierced the windshield of a pickup truck. The entire incident was captured on video.

It happened Friday afternoon in Meredith, New Hampshire. Lee Bavis told sister station WMUR that his son, Hunter, was on his way home when a stagecoach trailer flew off the trailer of the truck in front of him.
