1 week agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Matt Chapman (undisclosed) was cut on short notice Wednesday night. MLB.com's Maria I. Guardado reported that the 31-year-old infielder was removed from the starting lineup for an undisclosed reason. Fantasy managers should closely monitor any updates regarding the hard-hitting third baseman after Wednesday's game. As a result, infielder Tyler Fitzgerald will enter the lineup, replacing shortstop, while Brett Wisely moves to the hot corner. Chapman has been swinging a hot bat in recent days, with an excellent .346 AVG and .654 SLG. Fitzgerald and Wisley will face Arizona right-hander Zac Gallen, who allowed five runs in his last start and has a disappointing 3.87 ERA this summer.Andy Smith – RotoBaller
