Alaska Airlines flight aborts takeoff after near-traffic collision at BNA, authorities investigate

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – An Alaska Airlines flight was forced to abort its takeoff from Nashville International Airport Thursday morning due to a possible traffic conflict on the runway, the airline confirmed to WSMV4.

Alaska Airlines said Flight 369 received clearance for takeoff from air traffic control before it was aborted.

No one was injured in this incident. The passengers were transferred to another aircraft and are expected to arrive in Seattle late Thursday evening. There were 176 passengers and six crew members on board at the time of the incident.

The NTSB and FAA are investigating.
