LINCOLN, Nebraska (KLKN) – A Lincoln man is facing charges for a fatal fentanyl overdose.

According to court documents, Mikaya sold a bag of pills to a 27-year-old man in August 2023.

The pills were labeled “M30” (oxycodone), but in reality they contained fentanyl, police said.

The man died in a Lincoln home after taking at least one of the pills, an affidavit said.

Mikaya was arrested in June. He is being held on $750,000 bail.

His arraignment in Lancaster County District Court is scheduled for October 9.
