Lady Gaga responds to the viral Facebook group of former classmates about her

Lady Gaga has hit back after a TikTok post went viral showing a malicious Facebook group set up by her former college classmates.

The now-deleted Facebook group was created years ago when Lady Gaga was trying to follow her dreams of pop stardom while attending New York University under her real name, Stefani Germanotta.

In her comment on the TikTok post with screenshots of the group, which was captioned “Stefani Germanotta, you will never be famous,” Gaga had a noble response.

“Some people, I went to college [with] “I did this a long time ago,” the 38-year-old singer wrote on Wednesday, September 11. “That's why you can't give up when people doubt you or put you down – you have to keep going.”

The TikTok post showed that the “Bad Romance” singer had the last laugh, as it also included a photo of Gaga at the 2019 Oscars and detailed all of her impressive career achievements.

Gaga briefly attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts before dropping out in 2005 to pursue her acting and music career.

The 13-time Grammy winner recently made an interview with fashion published on Friday, September 6th.

She told the outlet that a new album will be released in February 2025, while a new single will be released in October.

About her new project, which she calls “LG7,” Gaga said it shows an intimate side of her.

“There's a lot of pain that comes with this adventure,” Gaga told the outlet. “And when I start exploring that pain, it can bring out a different side of my art. When I'm here in this studio, I'm relaxed and I can face my demons, and the most remarkable thing is… that's the music. I can listen to it.”

Gaga's professional success is also successful in her personal life.

The singer confirmed her engagement to CEO Michael Polansky in July after he proposed to her in April following a day of climbing.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter In November 2021, she made a rare comment when she gushed, “My dogs and the man I love are my whole life.”

The actress also told InStyle in May 2020 that she hopes to start a family one day.

“I have to say, I'm really looking forward to having children,” she said. “I'm looking forward to becoming a mother. Isn't it incredible what we can do? We can carry a human being inside us and let it grow. Then it comes out and it's our job to keep it alive.”
