Hina Khan reveals cancer survivor Mahima Chaudhry visited her during first chemotherapy session: ‘She is a hero’

Hina Khan has remained strong in her ongoing battle with breast cancer. Despite the challenges of her treatment, Hina has been actively documenting her journey on social media to give strength to her fans. For example, actress Mahima Chaudhry, who knows this struggle, visited Hina for her first chemotherapy session to comfort her. Hina revealed this in her latest Instagram post.

Hina Khan shared a throwback photo with Mahima from her first chemotherapy session and wrote, “This picture is from the day of my very first chemotherapy. And this angel of a woman suddenly surprised me in the hospital. She was with me, guiding me, motivating me and lighting my way during this most difficult phase of my life. She is a hero. She is a superhuman being.”

Hina added, “She did her utmost to make my journey easier than hers, she lifted my spirits and consoled me every step of the way. Her hardships became my life lessons. Her love and kindness became my benchmark and her courage became my greatest goal. We became friends and shared our individual experiences but she never made me feel alone, she got through it and she made me realize and believe that I could do it too. (Inshallah). May you always be that divine, beautiful soul dear Mahima.”

Hina shared a photo from the hospital with Mahima and wished her a happy birthday with this heartfelt message. In the photo, Hina is seen wearing a hospital gown, sitting on the bed and being hugged by Mahima.

Months ago, Hina Khan shared with her fans that she had been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Since then, she has been fighting cancer bravely and sometimes even gives her followers on social media insights into her journey. She even shares updates on her treatment process and highlights the physical and emotional hurdles she often has to go through.

Recently, Hina Khan shared that she was diagnosed with mucositis, a side effect of her ongoing breast cancer treatment. The actress shared that she is strictly following her doctor's advice but also asked her followers to share any remedies they know of. She also mentioned that she finds it very difficult to eat due to this condition.
