2 Boone High School students arrested after loaded gun found on campus

ORLANDO, Florida. – Two Boone High School students face charges after a gun was found on campus Friday morning.

According to a press release, Orlando Police Department security officers received a tip that a student was carrying a suspected handgun on school grounds.

Police said they quickly located the 17-year-old 10th grade student and found a loaded 9mm pistol in her backpack. Upon further investigation, police determined that the teen had taken the gun from her boyfriend, 19-year-old Lovensky Cesalien, a 12th grade student at the school, to carry with him and that he planned to return the weapon.
