Florida man charged with possession of child sexual abuse material

IT'S FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 13TH. I'M NATHALIE POZO AND I HAVE YOUR NEWS TO GO. THERE ARE EXTRA SECURITY PRECAUTIONS AT VERO BEACH HIGH SCHOOL THIS MORNING. THIS COMES AFTER INVESTIGATORS SAY A TEENAGER MADE THREATENINGS TO THE SCHOOL ON SOCIAL MEDIA. THE 16-YEAR-OLD WAS ARRESTED AND IS NOW FACING CHARGES. THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SAYS THERE WAS NO INDICATION THAT IT WAS A REAL THREAT. THE MOTHER OF A PREGNANT WOMAN HIT AND KILLED BY A CAR IS ASKING FOR WITNESSES TO COME FORWARD. IT HAPPENED ON SEPTEMBER 5TH. 18 YEAR OLD KIARA JONES WAS WALKING HOME ON BLUE HERON BOULEVARD THAT NIGHT WHEN SHE WAS HIT AND KILLED BY A CAR WHILE CROSSING THE STREET. RIVIERA BEACH POLICE INFORM US AN INVESTIGATION IS UNDERWAY. RIGHT NOW A MURDER INVESTIGATION IS UNDERWAY IN PORT SAINT LUCIE. POLICE CONDUCTED A WELFARE CHECK AND FOUND A 67 YEAR OLD MAN IN A HOUSE ON SOUTHEAST ALBATROSS AVENUE. THIS HAPPENED ON THURSDAY MORNING. HIS CO-WORKERS CALLED POLICE AND SAID HE DIDN'T SHOW UP FOR WORK. DETECTIVES SAY HE HAS OBVIOUS SIGNS OF HUGE TRAUMA ON HIS BODY. VANESSA. Weather impacts continue throughout South Florida. Kerri J. Ali, 22, of Boynton Beach, was arrested Thursday and charged with multiple counts of possession of child sexual abuse material. According to a report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, it was notified in January by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children of child abuse images on a Google Photo account. The account was registered in Ali's name. More than 50 files containing child sexual abuse material were reported and eventually identified by law enforcement. Ali is being held in the Palm Beach County Jail on $300,000 bail and is prohibited from having contact with anyone under the age of 18, using the internet, using social media, texting and using a computer. BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. —

Kerri J. Ali, 22, of Boynton Beach was arrested Thursday and charged with multiple counts of possession of child sexual abuse material.

According to a report from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, it was notified in January by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about child exploitation images on a Google Photo account.

The account was registered in Ali's name. More than 50 files containing child sexual abuse material were reported and eventually identified by law enforcement.

Ali is being held in the Palm Beach County Jail on $300,000 bail and is prohibited from having contact with anyone under the age of 18. He is also prohibited from using the internet, social media, texting or using a computer.
