“Bachelorette” Jenn Tran tries it out with NBA star Max Strus

Jenn Tran will be there next time!

The Bachelorette The 26-year-old star is moving on from the heartbreaking end of her season after she and Devin Strader split just weeks before the finale aired – and now has her eye on NBA player Max Strus.

At the performance on The Viall files Podcast on Wednesday, September 11, former Bachelor Nick Viall, 43, asked Tran: “Were the DMs open? Were you asked about any dates?”

Although Tran can safely say that she was asked out on a date “of course,” she shared that she is not ready to date since splitting from her 28-year-old ex-fiancé.

“I honestly can't,” she began. “I think about the hottest man in the world – if Jayson Tatum, my celebrity crush, comes up to me and wants to go on a date, I probably can't say yes yet because that would be messy. But if he wanted to go on a date with friends, I would.”

Viall chimed in and said he didn't think it would be too messy to get a coffee, but Tran insisted it was still too much at once.

“I just feel like I'm at a point where I think I'm going to have some trust issues for a while, just to be completely frank here,” she said, referring to the release of private “text messages” and adding that it's going to take her “some time to get over this.”

“This was a serious invasion of my privacy. It's something I'm having a hard time getting over,” Tran added.

Although her healing process is still ongoing, that doesn't mean the 26-year-old Boston Celtics star “can't slide into my direct messages,” she said.

As the conversation continued about Tatum, Tran was informed that he was already off the market and is apparently dating Grammy winner Ella Mai. The two have reportedly been together since 2020.

With the new knowledge, Tran quickly changed her selection.

“I'm so sorry, Ella,” the reality star said. “You know what? I'm swapping out my celebrity crush. Max Strus, if you're out there and single, I'm here and ready.”

Tran, who was announced as part of the cast of Dancing with the stars Season 33 earlier this month, spoke to PEOPLE about her healing process after splitting from Strader.

“I'm still in a healing process,” she said, then joked, “Right now I hate men, so…”

The TV star added that her dance partner Sasha Farber is the only exception to the rule at the moment. “Except you,” she told him on the red carpet. “I hate all men except you.”

“It's a healing process, but right now I'm so excited about this new opportunity and diving into something new, something I've always wanted to do,” Tran said, adding that she was “thrilled” to be part of the DWTS “Family.”

Season 33 of Dancing with the Stars premieres Tuesday, September 17 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, with episodes streaming on Hulu the following day.
