Spider-Man 4: Plot and villain leak suggest connections to Venom

We will soon know the official plans for Spider Man 4 now that Sony and Marvel seem to be moving forward. If Destin Daniel Cretton does indeed take over the direction of the next Peter Parker adventure in the MCU, Sony and Marvel will soon be Spider Man 4 Release date.

Even if Cretton doesn't direct the project, the two studios will have to select someone to make the film meet its tentative summer 2026 premiere date. Leaks say that Spider Man 4 will be released in cinemas between Avengers: Endgame And Avengers: Secret Wars.

Even without the leaks, we have to see Tom Holland’s Peter Parker return to the Avengers after Final so that they can take on Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.) in Secret Wars. Spider Man 4 must be released before Avengers 6 comes out.

Another trustworthy leaker has revealed plot details about Spider Man 4including the potential villain. Here I tell you that there could be big spoilers.

Do you remember Venom?

Before we get to the Spider Man 4 Spoiler, I will remind you of two Venom: Let there be carnage And No way home End credits scenes that leave an open ending that needs to be resolved.

Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock and Venom made it into the MCU when Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) cast the first spell early in No way homeStrange then put everything right by sending everyone back and making the reality of Earth-616 forget Peter Parker. However, a piece of Venom remained behind. This is how we get Venom in the main reality of the MCU. After No way homeI always assumed we would see Venom and Spider-Man interact, but it wasn't clear how long that would last.

If The Cosmic Circus's Alex Perez is right, then Spider Man 4 could be a multiverse movie with Tom Hardy's Venom. But Venom would not be the main villain of Spider Man 4.

The original plan for Spider Man 4

The Marvel insider repeated some of the Spider Man 4 Plot rumors we have heard about in recent months. Originally, Marvel wanted a street-level story for Spider Man 4. Spidey and Daredevil (Charlie Cox) would team up to fight Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio). The popular Marvel villain would become mayor of New York in Daredevil.

Perez says that several villains from the Spider Man Various lores were considered for the film. Maggia, Mister Negative, Spencer Smythe, MacDonald “Mac” Gargan as Scorpion, and Aaron Davis as Prowler were all considered.

Marvel still wants to tell this story, but it may have to wait a while. Instead Spider Man 4 could get a different storyline in which the multiverse plays a bigger role.

Perez learned that Spider-Man and Venom may have to work together to Spider Man 4. Setting up is Venom: The Last Dance.

Sony has just released the finale Poison 3 Trailer, which premieres on October 25. I was not a fan of Poison stories, although I liked what Tom Hardy did with the characters. And I'm kind of excited to see what happens in the final part of the trilogy. It looks like Eddie and Venom will be facing a bigger threat than ever before.

The Multiverse Plot

The Poison 3 Trailer reveals the villain is called Knull. A quick look at the film's IMDB page tells me Rhys Ifans has to be playing Knull. It's not confirmed and we don't see the villain's face in the clip, but it has to be him.

Perez says the plan was always to have Knull appear in other adventures, Poison 3If his information is correct, Spider Man 4 could be where we see Knull again. Eddie could move into the MCU at the end of the year. Poison 3It's unclear how, but this aspect of the plot may have required recent reshoots of the film.

Knull is the creator of Venom. That is why he comes to Earth in Poison 3. Knull wants to get his hands on his creation. He may want to destroy this reality too. But Knull may also be aware that part of Venom exists in another reality, all thanks to Strange's spells. What I'm getting at is that there is a way Spider Man 4 A story about Spider-Man and Venom fighting together against a multiversal threat.

This is not necessarily good news. I would prefer a street-level story for Spider Man 4 instead of another multiverse storyline.

However, if Marvel plans to kill the multiverse after Secret Warswe need to have this Spider-Man-Venom team together now. It will be too late to fight Knoll after Secret Wars. And since Venom is already in the MCU, it could still stay here after Secret Wars regardless of what happens in Poison 3 And Spider Man 4Sony and Marvel could come up with another common threat to face together.

Of course, none of this is confirmed. Poison 3 Premiere soon. If Sony were to incorporate MCU hooks into the film, perhaps via a credits scene, we would know that it is all about the Spider Man 4 Action.
