No. 20 Buford defeated No. 11 Douglas County 31-14

Junior quarterback Dayton Raiola scored a touchdown to Louisville's Jordan Allen with about 6:30 left in the fourth quarter, securing the win after the Wolves held Douglas County scoreless in the second half.
No. 17 Central (Phenix City, Alabama) escaped with a 42-35 win over Dothan (Alabama) in a thrilling finish that saw the Red Devils stop Dothan at the goal line on a 27-yard pass as time expired.

Central took the lead in the back-and-forth affair on a 53-yard touchdown run by senior running back Tristan Williams with 2:19 left.
After trailing 15-6 at halftime and 15-9 after three quarters, St. Thomas Aquinas took a 16-15 lead with 11:11 minutes left in the fourth quarter when sophomore wide receiver Julius Jones caught a ball on a diving catch down the right sideline.

Jones then caught a 58-yard touchdown pass, giving the Raiders an eight-point lead with 8:57 minutes left in the game when the promising wide receiver took over the game in the decisive phase.
