Tempe police presence at Arizona Mills Mall

TEMPE, Ariz. – Tempe police responded to a shooting at Arizona Mills Mall in Tempe on Friday. The mall is currently closed while police investigate.

Sky12 flies over the shopping center, which is currently surrounded by police.

Tempe police said this was neither an active shooting nor a police-involved shooting, but did not provide further details.

Armed officers can be seen near the mall's exterior doors. We await an update from the press secretary. This update will be live streamed in the player above.
