Five people arrested after SWAT team raid on Barthel Street

BUFFALO, NY – Five people were arrested following a Buffalo Police SWAT team raid on Barthel Street on Tuesday.

A search warrant was issued and police seized four loaded guns, 19 pounds of marijuana, 375 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, various colorful pressed pills and $10,181 in cash.

Dajanae Carson, 19, James Doucette, 19, Mekhi Green, 20, Donnell Lloyd, 25, all of Buffalo, and Israel Douglas, 22, of Cheektowaga, were arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of cannabis and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

According to investigators, the four weapons found were a Smith & Wesson SD9 with 9 rounds, a Glock 21 with 13 rounds, a Glock 22 with 18 rounds and a Glock 19 with 21 rounds.
