Meredith Marks undergoes third breast reduction due to ‘strange’ health problems

Meredith Marks has undergone a third breast reduction due to a “strange” medical condition that she says is causing her breasts to keep growing.

“My breast tissue won’t stop growing!” the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star tells Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast ahead of the season 5 premiere.

“It's wild. Seriously, I have this weird problem and I hope this is [my final breast reduction],” she continues. “I never wanted to be that big.”

Marks, 52, says doctors have not diagnosed her with any disease, but she believes it is “hormonal and genetic” because her mother had similar problems.

“I mean, my mom started growing in her 40s and the same thing,” she says. “I was just too big to start.”

The founder of Meredith Marks Caviar says she was “always meant to be a small C,” but felt uncomfortable in her skin as her cup size increased.

“It's a whole thing. When you have to go up two sizes to make room for your breasts, nothing fits properly. It's just not good… It's weird,” she says, noting that the surgery has improved both her self-esteem and her wardrobe.

“The clothes fit better now.”

Although Marks hopes she won't need another breast reduction in the future, she is prepared to undergo the surgery again if the growth continues.

“If I have to, I'll do it,” she says, admitting that her breast tissue may continue to grow. “Unless I want to look matronly.”

Meanwhile, the jewelry designer jokes that her “RHOSLC” co-star and good friend Heather Gay was jealous of her breasts.

“Her response was so funny,” Marks says, joking that fans will see the exchange on screen when the new episode of the Bravo reality show airs. “I laughed so hard.”

Season 5 of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” premieres Wednesday, September 18 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
