Man arrested after bicycle chain attack during trespassing in Shreveport | News

SHREVEPORT, Louisiana – Shreveport police arrested a man early Friday after he allegedly attacked a property manager with a bicycle chain during a trespassing incident on Shreveport Barksdale Highway.

Shortly after midnight, officers responded to a trespassing call in the 1200 block of Shreveport Barksdale Highway, where two homeless individuals were reportedly on the premises of a business without permission.

Police say Harley Main, 21, and his father, Michael Main, were at the scene when officers arrived. The property manager told police he asked the men to leave when Harley Main attacked him with a bicycle chain. The property manager was not seriously injured.

Investigators found that Harley Main had warrants for his arrest for drug possession. He was arrested for aggravated assault and trespassing and taken to the Shreveport Jail.

Michael Main was issued a summons for trespassing.
