Second defendant convicted in 2020 murder of Montgomery teenager

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – One of the defendants in the kidnapping and Killing of Montgomery teenager was sentenced to life imprisonment in June 2020.

Prosecutors say Keontae Davidson and his co-defendants beat and stabbed 17-year-old Lesley Luna Pantaleon before throwing her alive into Catoma Creek. Her body was found in the creek on July 4, 2020.

Davidson was initially charged with capital murder, but pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of murder before sentencing this week.

Three other people were charged with the crime. Erin Taylor was sentenced sentenced to 50 years in prison.

Tyeshia Whisenant has also pleaded guilty to murder.
