Two Ada residents were arrested and charged this week after police executed a search warrant on a residence suspected of containing illegal narcotics.

Arrested and charged were 21-year-old Emily K. Bowman and 30-year-old Chase Lee Dixon.

According to Ada police, members of the Ada Department's Special Response Team, along with patrol officers and detectives, executed a drug search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of W. 17th Street at 6:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police said: “As a result of the search warrant, suspected fentanyl and other controlled and dangerous substances were seized.”

The arrest warrant was obtained with the help of information from the public, police said.

Bowman and Dixon were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled and dangerous substance with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

However, on Friday, Bowman and Dixon were both charged in Chickasaw Nation District Court with unlawful possession of a controlled dangerous substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
