Two teens arrested after making threats against Ben Franklin Middle School | The Mighty 790 KFGO

FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo Police have arrested two juveniles in connection with a threat against Ben Franklin Middle School.

The threat came from social media and was reported to the police on Thursday evening. Two 13-year-olds were arrested on Friday evening for terrorizing.

One of the youths had concealed an air rifle when he was arrested. They were also arrested for carrying a concealed weapon.

It was the latest in a long line of threats against schools in Fargo.

Superintendent Rupak Gandhi announced Thursday that there was a vague threat against “Fargo Schools,” but an investigation found that the threat came from outside the area and was not directed at the district.

On Tuesday, a threat against Fargo North High was deemed implausible.

Within the first three days of school, Fargo South High School received two bomb threats that led to the campus closure. The FBI is investigating these threats.
