Bad news for NC State

NC State trailed Louisiana Tech 17-6 at halftime in Saturday's game in Raleigh, and that wasn't the only bad news for the Wolf Pack after the first half.

NC State's starting quarterback Grayson McCall missed the rest of the game after suffering an injury late in the second quarter.

Of course, Clemson hosts NC State next Saturday, so McCall's injury is important news to keep an eye on ahead of the contest in Death Valley.

Before being replaced by freshman CJ Bailey, McCall, a transfer from Coastal Carolina, completed 9 of 13 passes for 54 yards and four runs for 22 yards.

The Tigers and Wolfpack clash next Saturday, September 21, begins at noon and will be televised on ABC.
