Atlanta rapper Peewee Longway is said to have been arrested in a drug raid worth $200 million

Atlanta rapper Peewee Longway was reportedly arrested as part of a large-scale drug operation.

To ThursdayOver 100 people were arrested in Columbus, Georgiaas part of “Operation Sweet Silence.” Several of these individuals are facing federal charges for the raid, which began two years ago and targeted gangs. However, the operation resulted in the seizure of a large amount of drugs and weapons, including 7.1 kilograms of fentanyl, 57.21 kilograms of cocaine, 55,248 pounds of marijuana and 1.3 kilograms of heroin. Muscogee County Sheriff's Office According to the company, the total value of the drugs is over $200 million.

It is unclear what role Longway may have played in the operation, although several media outlets have reported that he was indeed arrested during the raid. He is known for his collaborations with other Atlanta greats, including Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, Migos, and many others.

During a press conference, Muscogee County Sheriff Greg Countryman issued a stern warning to gang members and dealers in the community.

“If you are involved in criminal activity, I want to send you this message. Just because your name did not come up in yesterday's arrest, I do not want you to reoffend. I do not want you to breathe a sigh of relief or breathe a sigh of relief because our work is not done. Just because you have not been arrested does not mean that we are not keeping an eye on you. So do not get too comfortable because our work is not done,” he stated firmly.

Longway's team has not yet commented on the possible charges. It is also unclear whether he has been released.
