Central Washington Athletics partners with Influxer

ELLENSBURG, Washington. – As part of its ongoing efforts to maximize opportunities for student-athletes to monetize their name, image and likeness (NIL), Central Washington University has announced a partnership with Influxer.

Influxer is an officially licensed supplier that produces co-branded apparel with the players' names and numbers. As part of this partnership, Influxer will provide education and training on marketing, entrepreneurship and personal branding.

“Central Washington University Athletics is excited to partner with Influxer and provide our 425+ student-athletes with the opportunity to market their name, image and likeness. We are equally excited about the educational opportunities and training our partnership will provide to our student-athletes as we enter a new era of collegiate athletics,” said Athletic Director Dennis Francois.

Each CWU student-athlete has the opportunity to create their own website where they offer personalized gear for purchase. In addition to the online store, the Influxer team handles all order processing and customer service and works with Central Washington and its student-athletes on creative elements and marketing.

“The NIL landscape is constantly evolving and working with CWU Athletics has been a great opportunity to witness their vision for Central Washington University providing great opportunities for their student-athletes through Influxer. They see this not just as a transactional opportunity, but as an opportunity to develop long-term skills for life,” said Keith Miller, Vice President of Influxer.

Influxer, which works with over 300 universities including Oklahoma, LSU and Houston, will manage not only the online store but all order fulfillment and customer service, while also working with Central Washington and its student-athletes on creative elements and marketing.
