Teens arrested after fatal shooting at Sumner party, two others injured – KIRO 7 News Seattle

According to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, a 30-year-old man was killed and two teenagers injured in a shooting at a house party in Sumner early Saturday morning.

At 1:58 a.m., officers responded to a home on Riverside Drive after receiving a report of a shooting.

When officers from the Bonney Lake and Puyallup police departments arrived, they found a dark colored Honda attempting to flee the scene.

The car struck a Bonney Lake police vehicle, but the officer was able to push it into a parked car, bringing the vehicle to a stop.

Two 16-year-old men were arrested and a gun was found on the floor of the car.

When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered a seriously injured 30-year-old man in the driveway.

Officers performed a chest compression before taking the man to hospital, where he later died.

Two other teenagers, both 16, were also found with gunshot wounds and taken to a local hospital.

One of them suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

A warrant was issued for the arrest of the driver of the dark sedan at Remann Hall for second-degree assault and unlawful possession of a firearm, while a warrant was also issued for his passenger for unlawful possession of a firearm.

As investigators discovered, the shooting occurred during a party hosted by the homeowner's daughter.

One of the 16-year-olds had been thrown out after a fight, but came back with the others.

A garage door to the barn opened and someone started shooting.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Department is asking anyone with information to come forward or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
