Today's best MLB home run picks (Target: Rafael Devers, Bryce Harper on Sunday)

It may be the first Sunday of the NFL season, but that doesn’t mean we can’t bet on baseball!

There are several exciting games on the schedule for Sunday, including many pitchers we can target who may allow a home run.

At SI Betting, we give out our most popular home run specials every day, and Sunday is no different, as three of my favorite hitters are in play today.

Opportunities via DraftKings Sportsbook.

Rafael Devers hits a home run (+225)

Boston Red Sox star Rafael Devers has an easy game against the weaker Chicago White Sox and has beaten their starting pitcher Chris Flexen in his career.

In seven career at-bats against Flexen, Devers had four hits, a double, two home runs and three runs batted in – good for an OPS of 2.143.

Flexen was awful in 2024, posting a 5.36 ERA and allowing 20 home runs in 29 appearances. Chicago is a shocking 2-27 when he takes the mound in 2024.

Devers has hit 28 home runs this season and has been great in this series, hitting 3 of 6 home runs in the first two games. I expect him to have a great game on Sunday.

William Contreras hits a home run (+390)

Milwaukee Brewers star Williams Contreras enters this game with 21 home runs this season, and I like his matchup on Sunday against the Colorado Rockies and left-hander Kyle Freeland.

Freeland has allowed 14 home runs in 17 starts, posting a 5.30 ERA. Contreras isn't a great power hitter, but he's better against lefties in 2024, with a .315/.392/.500 slash line against them.

Four of Contreras' home runs came against left-handed pitchers in just 124 at-bats, and the Colorado bullpen is also prone to longballs, allowing 68 this season.

The Brewers star is a solid target at this price on Sunday.

Bryce Harper hits a home run (+600)

Philadelphia Phillies superstar Bryce Harper wasn't a home run machine in 2024, hitting just 26, but he has a great matchup on Sunday.

Harper will face Miami Marlins starter Edward Cabrera, who has allowed 14 home runs in 16 games and posted a 5.33 ERA.

And what makes Harper even better is that he has beaten Cabrera in his career, going 3 for 7 with a double and a home run. On Sunday, he's worth a try at +600 (!!).
