Perry Farrell fights Dave Navarro during Jane's Addiction concert

Videos posted on social media showed Jane's Addiction lead singer Perry Farrell screaming and hitting guitarist Dave Navarro.

BOSTON — A concert in Boston ended abruptly Friday night when members of Jane's Addiction got into a fight onstage.

According to the setlist, the incident occurred at the end of the show's eleventh song, “Ocean Size.”

In a video posted to social media, singer Perry Farrell can be seen yelling at guitarist Dave Navarro and shoulder-bumping him at the end of the song. The two men appear to argue before Farrell throws a punch at Navarro.

At this point, the band's crew stepped in, separated the men and pulled Farrell off the stage.

Navarro and the rest of the band are then seen thanking the crowd before leaving the stage and ending the show.

As of Saturday morning, the band had not yet issued a statement on the incident. More than a dozen concerts are scheduled to take place between now and October 16, including on October 2 at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver.

Jane's Addiction was formed in Los Angeles in 1985 by Farrell and bassist Eric Avery, who were later joined by Navarro and drummer Stephen Perkins, after working with various guitarists and another drummer.

The band has split up several times in the past, but has been performing regularly since 2008.
