Two people arrested in connection with shoplifting in Back Bay – Boston 25 News

BOSTON – Two people were arrested in connection with a shoplifting incident in Back Bay.

On September 13, officers were assigned to patrol the Prudential Mall because of an increase in thefts and shoplifting there.

Officers were notified that there had been a repeat theft at the Lululemon store. Upon arrival, police observed two women leaving the store together without paying for the merchandise.

Police were able to stop the two suspects, recover stolen goods valued at $758, and arrest them. The suspects, Kiara Ragland (19) of Boston and Jacarie Allen (20) of Roxbury, are accused of theft.

Officers also found that Allen had four warrants for his arrest for various shoplifting, theft and assault charges. Ragland and Allen are expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
