Murder investigation underway in Love County after woman was shot

A woman was killed and a man hospitalized after a shooting at a Love County home early Tuesday, the Love County Sheriff's Office reported. Get the latest interesting news here.At around 5:20 a.m., authorities responded to a 911 call from a man near Greenville saying he and a woman had been shot inside a home. The man was taken to a Texas hospital for treatment of his gunshot wounds, while the woman was found dead at the scene.According to the sheriff's office, investigators were able to access a surveillance system that showed a person firing 5 shots at the home.>> Download the KOCO 5 appOn Tuesday, sheriff's officials told the public there was no active threat to the surrounding community.“I meant that and I still mean that. This crime was premeditated.
