Three fugitives, including one from Spokane Valley, arrested

The three arrested had previously been convicted of serious crimes.

SPOKANE, Wash. – The U.S. Marshals Service said it has located and arrested three fugitives with previous convictions for sex offenses.

Here are the three people arrested by the US Marshals Service.

David McCuistion

The U.S. Marshals Service arrested McCuistion for failing to register as a sex offender. The U.S. Marshals Service said the Spokane Valley man was previously convicted of third-degree attempted sexual assault of a child and rape.

William Scarf

Shawl, who is from Riverside, Washington, was arrested on an outstanding federal warrant for escape, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. The U.S. Marshals Service said Shawl was previously convicted of escape, luring a minor with a developmental disability, abusive sexual contact with a person under 12 and failure to register as a sex offender.

Barry Collins

The U.S. Marshals Service said Collins, a native of Tonasket, Washington, was arrested on charges of escaping from custody and failing to comply with Justice Department parole requirements. The U.S. Marshals Service said Collins is on parole for failing to register as a sex offender and has previously been convicted of third-degree child rape, attempted escape, possession of controlled substances, residential burglary, second-degree burglary and theft of a firearm.

The U.S. Marshals Service said the Spokane County Sheriff's Office, Washington State Department of Corrections, Omak Police Department and United States Border Patrol assisted with the arrests.
