Operation leads to 9 arrests in Arkansas

The Faulkner County Sheriff's Office and numerous other agencies worked together to conduct Operation Room Service, which resulted in the arrest of nine men within two days.

FAULKNER COUNTY, Arkansas – Arkansas authorities arrested nine men in Faulkner County on human trafficking and child exploitation charges between Sept. 13 and 14.

The Faulkner County Sheriff's Office, the 20th Judicial District Attorney's Office, and the United States Marshal Service partnered with the Covenant Rescue Group (CRG) to successfully conduct Operation Room Service, which resulted in the arrests.

One of the suspects was 37-year-old Jacob Teel, a Cleburne County police officer.

The suspects and charges are as follows:

Fees: Internet stalking of a child and travelling for the purpose of illicit sexual intercourse with a minor

Joey Le


Fees: Two cases of internet stalking of a child, two cases of travelling for the purpose of illicit sexual intercourse with a minor and two cases of sexual abuse of a child

Joseph Capps


Fees: Internet stalking of a child, traveling for the purpose of an illicit sexual act with a minor and sexual indecency with a child

Caleb Higdon


Fees: Internet stalking of a child, traveling for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual activity with a minor, and sexual abuse of a child

Easton Squirrel


Fees: Internet stalking of a child, traveling for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual activity with a minor, and sexual abuse of a child

Demarv Cummings


Fees: Internet stalking of a child, traveling for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual activity with a minor, and sexual abuse of a child

Jeremy Curtiss


Fees: Internet stalking of a child, traveling for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual activity with a minor, and sexual abuse of a child

Alton Sprague


Fees: Internet stalking of a child, traveling for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual activity with a minor, and sexual abuse of a child

Fees: Internet stalking of a child, traveling for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual activity with a minor, and sexual abuse of a child

The Faulkner County Sheriff's Office said the charges are subject to change after review by the District Attorney's Office. Additional charges may be filed as the investigation progresses.
