Jason Momoa is accused of insulting members of the “Minecraft” film crew

Valkyrae reported that she witnessed Jason Momoa throwing a tantrum on set.

YouTube streamer Valkyrae has accused actor Jason Momoa of creating a toxic work environment on the set of the upcoming film. Minecraft Film. Valkyrae, who makes a cameo appearance in the film adaptation of the video game, witnessed a “surprising” behavior from the 45-year-old star in the form of an outburst of anger towards the crew members.

The comments came when the video game streamer appeared on JasonTheWeen's recent mock interview/food stream “Hot Ones.” The host asked Valkyrae (real name Rachell Hofstetter) about her “worst celebrity or streamer experience,” and she recalled her experiences working on A Minecraft moviewhich is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 4, 2025. The streamer accused Momoa of his “disappointing” behavior towards the film's production team after filming an “intense” scene.

“I saw him mistreating some of the crew members, and it was pretty disappointing,” Valkyrae recalled. “He was just really mad at them for not doing something right. … He was just angry, really mad, and yelling. So I just thought, 'Man, that's not a good work environment. I wouldn't be happy working under those conditions.'”

Neither Momoa nor Warner Bros. Pictures, the studio behind the film, have commented on Valkyrae's account as of press time.

The actor, who previously appeared in Aquaman And Fast Xplays Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison in the family film in which a group enters the block-based world of MinecraftJack Black plays the main character Steve in the video game.
