According to CFD, a traffic accident in Chicago occurred Saturday evening near the corner of 63rd and Western on the South Side, leaving four people with minor injuries, including three children.

CHICAGO (WLS) — Four people, including three children, were injured in a traffic accident on Chicago's south side on Saturday evening.

The accident, which apparently involved a car and a semi-trailer, occurred near the intersection of Western Avenue and 63rd Street, Chicago Fire Department officials said around 7 p.m.

Three children were taken to Comer Children's Hospital and one adult was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, CFD said.

The fire department did not provide any further information about the injured.
