Louisiana State Police arrest four people after murder in Tallulah | North Louisiana

The Louisiana State Police/CID/Detectives-Monroe Field Office (LSP MFO) have continued the investigation into the September 8, 2024, homicide that occurred in the 200 block of Thomas Street in Tallulah. The incident claimed the life of 24-year-old John Ward Jr. of Texas.

As the investigation continued and with the information received, LSP MFO obtained arrest warrants from the 6th District Court and arrested the following individuals:

Javion Nelson, 21, of Delhi for premeditated murder and obstruction of justice.

Gerald Albert, 26, of Tallulah for unlawful carrying and discharge of a weapon and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of certain crimes.

Ta'Niqua Brazil, 33, of Tallulah for obstruction of justice, second-degree aggravated assault and making false statements to endanger public safety.

Deontay Willmore, 39, of Tallulah for obstruction of justice.

Each of them was arrested without incident and taken to the Madison Parish Detention Center.
