Georgia OG leaves game against Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Kentucky – Georgia football right guard Tate Ratledge was injured in the second quarter of the Bulldogs' game at Kentucky on Saturday night.

Ratledge slowly left the field with 9:28 left in the second quarter due to a leg/knee injury and was assisted by two members of the Bulldogs training staff.

Ratledge has sustained an ankle and knee injury and is out for the game. ABC's Molly McGrath reported that it is Ratledge's left ankle and left knee.

The senior made his 31st start in Georgia.

Ratledge went to the medical tent and stayed there for a while before it was announced that he was out for the game.

Micah Morris filled in for Ratledge at right guard following the injury. Georgia has freshman Daniel Carlson behind Ratledge on the reserve list, but Morris is a top backup.
