Kyle Chrisley was accused of stabbing a man before his recent arrest

While his father was serving a prison sentence for various types of financial fraud, Kyle Chrisley was arrested on September 9 and charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest.

We can now also confirm new details about the incident.

According to the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office police report, the 33-year-old and his wife had an argument with a mechanic over money.

After this man confronted her about the incident and her house, Kyle claims the mechanic crashed into his wife's parked car, drove down the street, and then came back and started taunting Chrisley.

The mechanic, in turn, claims that he merely knocked on Kyle's door, whereupon Kyle eventually stabbed him in the arm with a knife.
